The HPARC participated in ARRL Field Day at Willard Moore’s farm on Saturday June 28 and Sunday June 29, 2008. ARRL Field Day is the most popular on-the-air operating event in Amateur Radio. It is an emergency communications simulation and readiness event in the event of extreme weather and natural disasters. Field Day is part educational event, part operating event, part public relations event, and mostly fun as we "contact" thousands of other "Hams" across North America.
